We were onour way out last night and Paul started to have trouble with his car. We decided that we should probably go home and switch over the cars. We were driving home and Paul was getting more and more stressed, no wonder - it was tea time, the traffic was terrible, it was pissing with rain and he was scared that the car would stop completely at any moment.

Anyway, I asked him something and he snapped at me and said something that really hurt me and immediately made me cry.

We got home and he was trying to apologise but all it would do was make me cry more. He told me time and time again that it was stupid, he had no idea why he said it and that there was not an ounce of truth in it anyway.

Eventually we made up. I couldn't face going out and seeing people then (which was a shame because it was bowling and I love bowling) so Paul bought me a curry and we stayed in.

I was sat in the car having a cigarette later and this song came on the radio. It puts into words what we had been fighting about so perfectly and I wanted to put it here so I can remember.
