Today we ran a few errands in town and then decided to go the the Apple Festival that some friends had mentioned was going on at Middle Farm today. It was great - there was a small fair with the neice, traditional rides and stalls -like merry go rounds and coconut shys. We got to see all the animals around the farm - chickens and pigs and calves and ducks and rabbits and guinea pigs - the list is endless. There was tons of local produce, we happily filled our basket with apples, Applewood Smoked Cheese, Pork and Mead sausages, Ginger Wine and mini pumpkins.
Then we came home and had a relaxing afternoon then went out quite early for a couple of drinks and a meal together. It was lovely but Paul seems to have a bit of a cold so he is tucked up in bed and I am just doing this and making tea.

Yes I did take the picture but no I didn't go on the carousel. Paul said I was too old - which I think is rubbish but I didn't want to do it alone!
I do love the photo - it is the new one on my mobile at the moment too.
That day sounded so nice. :)
