Day two

Hello all.

I would just like to say that it is the end of Day 2 and my word count is a fairly respectable 5,177. Not the 4 thousand odd that that little widget over there, no over There - see on the right hand side says. I think that it is slightly crazy. More so than me. I am on day 2 and I still have my sanity. I have also managed to cook dinner two nights in a row and look after my man who I am sad to say is dying from the man-cold. Sad but true. He tells me it is touch and go but as he is still managing to scream at Tottenham playing football on the tv I personally think the prognosis is good.

We also have stuff to talk about and he promises me that as soon as the football finishes I will have his undivided attention. This is a good thing but I am a bit nervous and the waiting is doing my head in. Do not worry, it is nothing serious, just some decisions I need to make about my health and the tablets I am taking that could affect him. I am struggling to tell you the truth. I take tablets to help with a health problem and it causes other problems. Some days I could just cry. Why can't it just all be normal? Is that too much to ask? I guess so.

Anyway, positives. Tomorrow is Friday. I get to wear jeans to work and I am doing some strange training thing so that will be a change. Saturday is Lewes bonfire which is indescribable. I will try and take the camera and get some pictures because it is totally amazing. However I also plan on getting a bit drunk so that may affect the quality of the shots! I have started Nano and I do not want to kill my main character just yet. She is too much like me for my liking but occasionally does something that I wouldn't dream of. I have to get Huw and a vat of boiling custard into this novel somewhere too which could be fun!

Enjoy the fireworks people and stay safe x
