Feeling a bit peckish?

Appetizer
When was the last time you did something you would consider courteous, what was it, and who was it for?

I held the door open for someone this morning.

Salad
If you were to have a painting done of you alone, what would you want the background to be?

Something really cheesey like a sunset or white beach with palm trees and turquoise water - so I can pretend I have been somewhere like that.

Soup
Describe your voice.

Personally I think it is very high and sqeaky - a cross between a 5 year old and a telly tubby. It was once described to me as plummy!

Main Course
What is something you would like to do, but you're afraid of the risk(s)?

Travel - around America probably. I would love to do it but I am really shy and not good at meeting new people so I am too scared to go alone. However, not only have I never found someone who I could go with I know that it really is something that I should do by myself, at least at the beginning. Who knows - perhaps one day.

Dessert
What was the last television show you watched?

I'm going to tell you a secret - the Madonna Documentary that was on Channel 4 last night. I really enjoyed it but think I dozed off at the end!

Why travel around America? Are there specific things you want to see? Make sure you let us know when you're coming.

Seriously, let us know! You'd not be alone over here... you could just visit all of your American blog friends :-)

America just appeals because it is so big and there is so much that you can see and do, it all seems so diverse! England is really a small place although it doesn't feel like that when you live here. Hopefully one day I will manage to do it.

best thing to do is just do it. TO hell with anything else. If you want something, go for it. You have some blog friends who I am sure would take you around their respective area's.

Travelling is so liberating, but I can appreciate your reluctance to go it alone. That said, if you've plenty of people you can visit on your trip then that makes it a bit less daunting. If you could persuade a mate to go then it's always fun to share your travel adventures... but don't go in a large group - too many egos to satisy and you'll only end up arguing!

Hope you take the plunge sometime, you won't regret it.
