Welcome. So nice of you to drop by. I hope you enjoy having a rummage round the random stuff that comes out of my brain before you are off on your way again.

Trip down memory lane
I thought I would Google 'Knightmare' after Leonie's comment on my last post. Can you believe there is a Bring Back Knightmare club? With a petition and everything. I mean the show finished in 1994 so the majority of people who watched it must be well into their 20's now (yep like me). I just got a geek-walking-over-my-grave shudder.
I LOVED Knightmare! It was my favourite kids program. They sometimes show repeats on Challenge, but I dno't have Sky no more, so can't see it now.
I heard rumours once that Challenge were going to make new episodes, but I don't think it amounted to anything, I wish they would. TV these days needs some trips down memory lane, the old ones were always the best (ahem look what happened when they bought back Doctor Who?)
I wanted to go on knightmare, I applied with some friends, but never heard. Probably a good thing, I think we would have had huge arguements about who would have worn the helmet.
I wanted to go on Fun House, the Grand Prix would have been too much fun, and I would have loved the house and all the child squishing devices, I think it was the gunge I wouldn't have liked. It would have messed up my hair!
There is NO WAY IN HELL I would've gone on Knightmare. I seem to remember thinking it was real. And that if you died in it you actually died. In real life. Although in retrospect that does seem a little... improbable.
Thank you, Kelly, that DID cheer me up! Not the children dying thing, though. Well sort of the children dying thing.
I am a contradiction. Fiesty but I hate conflict. Happy and smiley but constant worrying. Loud and silly with friends but painfully shy around strangers. I love the summer but can't cope with the sun. My favourite things in the whole world are my husband, my toddler boy, my baby girl, my friends, my family, penguins, singing loudly alone in the car, and Cornwall. I don't like people who think the world owes them something, my fears and celery.
