I had a really nice time last night. He (who needs a new nickname) picked me up at 6 on time - bonus points and we went to the Marina to have a drink and see a film his idea, which was lovely - it was so nice that we didn't have the ' what do you want to do' stuff. On this I totally agree with Virgina Belle - bonus points.
When we got there we had a look at what was on at the cinema - he suggested King Kong great - he is able to make decisions - bonus points which I haven't seen and wanted to - and then he bought the tickets this was nice - bonus points.
The film didn't start for a hour and a half so we went and had a couple of drinks. I offered to buy the first round and after a quick 'Are you sure?' he accepted no arguments - bonus points.
We sat and chatted and the time flew by before we had to make a move and go and see the film.
He asked if I would like anything to eat I didn't but it was nice to be asked - bonus points.
He asked if I minded where we sat and when I said I didn't he chose the seat bonus points - I really hate picking seats in cinemas!
We watched the film which I really enjoyed. I FREAKED OUT at the bits with the huge bugs and he was sweet and held my hand (when it was not covering my face, those were some scary bugs!).
He drove me home and watched me get in the door before he drove away such a gentleman - bonus points.
All in all it was a great evening, I had a really nice time and I hope that we do it again. Watch this space!
Oh, and I found out who he got my number from. It was the girl that works here that I thought he was interested in before. Which totally put my mind at rest about the two of them.

Gosh, you make him sounds like the most wonderful man alive. He does sound as though he behaved perfectly though. I hope you have many more dates soon.
I didn't think people like that existed! Hope the next dates are just as good!
Blimey, I shudder to think of all the bonus points I must have inadvertantly lost over the years by not paying enough attention/ having a brain. Still, if a girl can't take a door being carelessly slammed in her face in the spirit it's meant, then what good is she, eh? Eh?
Oh.
That was nice to read on a Monday morning. here's to more happy blog entries.
