Thanks for all your great suggestions for housewarming gifts. In the end I decided to but alcohol because I knew that was definitely going to be appreciated. I bought a nice bottle of Smirnoff Vodka in a pretty box. But to stop it being too dull and predictable I also bought limes and ginger ale so he can make Moscow Mules which was the cocktail we both picked when we went out last week. The gift was appreciated! We had a very lovely meal (he is a good cook) and a few glasses of wine. As a proper lady I do not kiss and tell, so let's just say that it's going really well and I am smiling today!
In other news in 48 hours I will be on a plane making my way to Verona, Italy. My holiday has finally arrived and I am getting really excited now. Also completely stressed out like I always do when I have to travel! I think I have pretty much got everything covered now - travel, accommodation, money and insurance. I'm really looking forward to it as I am going with G#2 and we have hardly seen each other over the last month as she has been all loved up with her new man and I have been going out a lot myself!
I'd love to write more but I started this at 9am and now it is 2.15pm and all I have achieved is two paragraphs. This post wins the award for longest short post ever!?!

I love Italy! Eat lots of food, and drink lots of drink. It is all so cheap and so fresh and wow! The tomatoes over there taste completely different to what they do here!
I would like to know what this man cooked for you.
On other news I would like to say how happy I am that you have ome romance in your life!
And enjoy the holiday! Good luck!
Oh I would LOVE to know all the details of your date. I suspect, however, that posting those sorts of details is not really so much your style.
Nevertheless I am sending you a big high five.
Hope you have a wonderful time in lovely Italy...
Go Kelly! Glad it is going well!
Leonie - Don't worry, I'm meeting Kelly for a drink later so I'll get all the juicy gossip and post it here tomorrow!
(Okay Kelly, I'm kidding, I'm kidding... don't hit me, please... ouch!)
Oh yeah, and have a good holiday!
Glad last night went well. Enjoy your holiday.
