When I left work on Friday The Crush sent me an email saying have a nice weekend and that he would see me next Tuesday.
I was visiting my Nanna in hospital yesterday morning so my mobile was switched off. When I came out and switched it back on I had a text from a number I didn't recognise. It was from The Crush saying that he hoped that I didn't mind that he had asked someone for my number and had I had a nice night (I'd gatecrashed the lads night out from work!). I was so excited but I was walking along with my Dad so I had to pretend it was nothing.
I explained that my Dad had turned up on a surprise visit and that I was away all day in Surrey. He text me back and asked if I wanted to go for a drink and to see a film tonight.
So I am and I am so nervous. It has been over a year and a half since I went on a date and I don't even know what to do.
He has already scored points for saying that he will come and pick me up from my house at 6.
Did I mention I am nervous? Right I must go and stare at my clothes for a hour trying to pick something to wear.

you know what to do! When you go out on the date, you;ll be nervous yes, but you'll be fine, have a beer, be yourself, and you can't go wrong!
I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine, you've nothing to worry about!
Yeah! Just remember, he likes you! You already have the advantage! HE's the one trying to impress you too! It's an even playing field. :)
